YouTube video from 2009 determined to have no connection to missing teen

Update October 12: Antigo Police have determined the video to be fake.

They stated that, after careful investigation, the YouTube video has no connection to the disappearance of teenager Kayla Berg.

Earlier: Seven years ago a video, called 'Hi Walter! I got a new gf today!', was posted to YouTube.

It recently went viral as the mother of missing Wisconsin teen Kayla Berg says the female shown may be her daughter.

The video has since been removed from YouTube "for violating YouTube's policy on harassment and bullying" as it contains footage of a woman lying on the floor, tied up and screaming.

15-year-old Berg went missing roughly two months before the video was published.

According to one Imgur user who made several connections between the woman in the video and Kayla Berg, the clothes that the person in the video is wearing matches the description of what Berg was wearing the night she disappeared.

"The time of the upload and Kayla's description are what really connects these two stories."

The investigation is currently underway after seven years.
