Donald Trump promises more money for space programme
Donald Trump pledged to bolster the US government's investment in the space programme - a boon to the space coast of Florida.
Mr Trump made the declaration at a rally on Tuesday in Sanford, not too far from the hub of the space programme on Florida's Atlantic Coast.
He vowed to create new public-private partnerships to fund the programme, which he said has benefited Americans by creating new technologies and more jobs for the region.
The air plane hangar rally in Sanford, Florida, left only one more stop for Mr Trump of a three-day campaign swing in political critical Florida.
