Number of injuries in serious Kildare crash involving garda car
A serious road traffic collision has occurred on the M7 near Kildare.
The crash occurred at approximately 8.45pm just past the Kildare exit northbound between a number of cars, including a garda car. An unconfirmed number of injured persons have been taken to Naas and Tallaght hospitals.
The road is currently closed and diversions are in place. Emergency services are at scene.
The incident has been referred to GSOC.
