Grafton buys British builders merchant firm
Grafton Group has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Direct Builders Merchants Ltd.
The builders merchanting and DIY Group bought the general merchanting business trading to improve its coverage of the market in Kent and the south-east of England.
Direct Builders has three branches in Sittingbourne, Whitstable and Ashford in Kent.
It had revenue of £4.8m in the financial year to December 31, 2013.
