A man arrested in connection with the seizure of a firearm in Dublin on Friday night has been released.

One man released, one still being questioned after seizure of firearm in Dublin

A man arrested in connection with the seizure of a firearm in Dublin on Friday night has been released.

Two men in their 20s were detained following the incident in the North Stand area of the city.

One of them has been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the DPP.

Gardaí are continuing to question the second man.
