Man, 39, in hospital following stabbing in Cork

A man in his 30s is in hospital after he was stabbed in Cork last night.

Gardaí said the incident occurred at Riverdale, Skibbereen at around 8.15pm last night.

A 39-year-old man was discovered with stab wounds.

He was taken to Cork University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Gardaí said no arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
