Alba has sore moment on set of new film

Jessica Alba accidentally whipped herself in the face filming 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For'.

The 33-year-old actress - who reprises her role as stripper Nancy Callahan in the sequel to 2005's 'Sin City' - came away with various injuries after attempting to master wielding a bullwhip for the movie.

She said: "I whipped myself a couple of times in the face. I didn't mean to ... you have to whip it really fast and I had to look cool, and there was wind, and I was trying to channel Beyonce."

Alba also performs some risqué pole-dancing moves in the sequel which left her knees and back incredibly sore.

Appearing on 'Conan' last night, she said: "I was really sore when I came home, I was usually icing my knees and my back, and asking my husband to massage me. I would record the dances and be like, 'See babe, this is why I need you to rub my knees tonight.' And he'd say, 'My hands are tired.'"

The stunning actress' likeness has been used for a new movie tie-in action figure but she admits it's a "little weird" to be turned into a plastic toy - especially as the toys aren't for children due to the film's violent content.

She added: "It's a little inappropriate. I think this is an adult action figure. I've had a few action figures for 'Dark Angel', 'Fantastic Four', the first 'Sin City' and now this. I have them in storage, it's weird to have them around the house. It might be a little weird."
