Poll shows rise in support for FF, SF and Greens; Leaders' satisfaction ratings drop
A new poll published this evening shows no change in support for the Government parties, but a rise in the popularity of Fianna Fáil, Sinn Féin and the Greens.
The latest poll carried out for the Sunday Times shows no change in support for Fine Gael on 27% while support for Labour also remains static at 7%.
The poll was conducted between June 11 and 24, and finds Fianna Fáil hot on the heels of Fine Gael - up one at 24%.
There were also increases for both Sinn Féin and the Green Party, leaving them on 16% and 3% respectively.
However, satisfaction ratings with the party's leaders have dropped for all heads of parties bar Eamon Ryan.
Gerry Adams and Micheál Martin remain the most popular leaders on 43%.
Support for the Taoiseach dropped two points with 37% of those surveyed satisfied with Enda Kenny's leadership.
The Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore fell three points to 26% according to the latest poll, while support for Eamon Ryan jumped one to 30%.
