TDs sign off on supplementary budget for Gardaí
TDs have approved a €75m bailout for the Gardaí.
The extra money will go mostly towards pay and communications equipment.
Some of the funds will also be spent on clothing, administration and the maintenance of Garda aircraft.
The extra funding amounts to a 6% increase in the original Garda budget announced last year.
