In case you didn’t see it, here is Demba Ba’s ambitious opening strike from the halfway line last night.
Turkish side Besiktas faced Arsenal in a crucial Champions League qualifier and former Chelsea striker Ba gave the Premier League side a serious fright in the opening seconds.
His long-range strike was bang on target and it took all of Wojciech Scheszny’s agility to push it onto the crossbar and out of play.
The match ended in a 0-0 draw and the two sides will meet in London next week for the second leg.
