Two people have crashed into each other while paragliding in Co Wicklow this afternoon.

Paragliders collide near Wicklow heritage centre

Two people have crashed into each other while paragliding in Co Wicklow this afternoon.

The incident took place at Glencree Heritage Centre north of Bray at approximately 5.20pm.

One of the men, believed to have been the instructor, was taken to hospital by ambulance while the other man, a student, was airlifted to hospital.

The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
