Gardaí charge three over burglaries, recover stolen jewellery

Three men have appeared in court charged in connection with burglaries in Dublin.

They were arrested yesterday, after Gardaí from the organised crime unit stopped a car in Rathcoole.

Officers recovered jewellery including watches, rings and chains, as part of "Operation Fiacla".

Four men were arrested at the scene and taken to Clondalkin Garda Station.

Three of the men, aged between their 20s and 50s, appeared before Blanchardstown District Court today, while the fourth was released without charge.

Gardaí have made photos of the recoverd jewellery available online, and if you believe you are the original owner, you are asked to contact the organised crime unit.

A gallery of the items can be viewed online here.
