Food group Glanbia is reporting a 10% increase in revenue for the six months to the end of June.
Total group revenue for the half year was €1.78, up 10.7% on the €1.66bn recorded during the same period last year.
The company said its Global Performance Nutrition arm, which makes food and sports supplements, was the key growth driver.
Earnings in this sector jumped by over 21%.
"Glanbia had a good first half in 2014 resulting in a constant currency increase of 11.5% in adjusted earnings per share," Managing Director Siobhán Talbot said.
"Global Performance Nutrition was the key contributor delivering strong branded revenue growth, through effective execution in core channels and continued international growth.
"The outlook for the remainder of the year is positive and we expect to achieve our guidance of 8% to 10% growth in adjusted earnings per share on a constant currency basis for 2014."
