Brolly slams Kerry football again today

Joe Brolly isn’t going to be pushed into changing his views about yesterday’s All Ireland final.

The controversial Sunday Game pundit was scathing about the match, saying at half-time: “the game is horrific, it’s barely watchable”.

He had also been dismissive of Kerry earlier in the season and Kieran Donaghy took the opportunity to respond to him in his on-pitch interview minutes after the final whistle.

“Well Joe Brolly, what did you think of that?” asked Donaghy.

Another Kerry footballer, Sunday Game player of the year James O’Donoghue, repeated the question to Brolly on Twitter this morning.

True to form, Brolly answered and held firm with his initial opinion of the football.

Although he did also concede the Kerry tactics worked and offered his congratulations to O’Donoghue.
