A man is due to appear in court charged in connection with a stabbing in Limerick.

A man is due to appear in court charged in connection with a stabbing in Limerick.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was stabbed several times and suffered a punctured lung in the attack.

It happened at an apartment on Baker Place in Limerick yesterday morning.

The victim is in a serious but stable condition in University Hospital Limerick.

A 34-year-old man is due in court at around 5.30pm this evening charged in connection with the incident.
