Lisdoonvarna festival kicks off today
The world famous Lisdoonvarna matchmaking festival kicks off in Co Clare today.
The festival is Europe’s largest singles event and has been around for 157 years.
It's reported that 3,000 marriages have been set up at the festival in the past 45 years.
The month long event spreads across five weekends.
