Man extradited from US charged with sexual offences against girls in Louth

A 33-year-old man has been extradited from the US to face charges in connection with alleged sexual offences of two girls in Co. Louth.

A 33-year-old man has been extradited from the US to face charges in connection with alleged sexual offences of two girls in Co. Louth.

The man was flown in to Dublin this morning from the US, on foot of an investigation by gardaí in Ardee.

He is due in Dublin District Court this lunchtime.

The offences are alleged to have happened between 2010 and 2011.
