A man has been shot in the Clondalkin area of Dublin.

A man has been shot in the Clondalkin area of Dublin.

The 23-year-old was found in a house at Old Tower Crescent shortly before 6am this morning.

He is receiving treatment at James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown for what are being described as non-life threatening injuries.

A Garda investigation has been launched however no arrests have been made as of yet.
