Donegal beat fierce rivals Tyrone in the Ulster Senior Football championship quarter final 1-13 to 1-11.
It was a tight affair in a wet and windy Ballybofey as after a strong start from Tyrone, a goal from Michael Lanagan got Donegal on track.
The home team remained ahead for much of the first half as they lead by two points going into half time.
Tyrone hit back though early in the second half with a goal from Darragh Canavan, putting them ahead by two.
Both teams went tit for tat for the rest of the game until Donegal pulled away near the end with points from Ciarán Thompson and Oisin Gallen.
Elsewhere in the Ulster Senior Football Championship, Armagh beat Down 0-17 to 0-15 to make it to the semi-finals.

Munster Senior Hurling Championship
Elsewhere, Munster champions Limerick are 70 minutes away from defending their title after overcoming Tipperary and brutal conditions in Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
John Kiely’s men led 1-17 to 1-8 at half-time and never allowed Tipperary to eat too much into their lead when facing the second-half gale.
A 48th-minute penalty goal by Aaron Gillane, after Cathal Barrett brought down the terrific Gearóid Hegarty, hurt Tipperary after the All-Ireland holders had opened the second half with three unanswered points.
Connacht Senior Football Championship
In the Connacht Senior Football Championship, Mayo put their relegation to Division two in the league last week behind them.
James Horan's men beat Leitrim by 2-15 to 0-10 in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada.
Munster Senior Football Championship
In the Munster Senior Football Championship quarter-final, Tipperary beat Clare at Semple Stadium by 2-11 to 1-11.
Leinster Senior Football Championship
Longford beat Louth 1-09 to 1-07 to advance to the Leinster Senior Football Championship quarter final.
Offaly beat Carlow 3-14 to 0-20m while Wicklow got the best of Wexford with a 2-09 to 0-11 win in Wexford.
