Gardaí are investigating a shooting in Dublin last night, which left a man and a woman injured.

A man and a woman – who is reported to be pregnant - are recovering in hospital after a shooting in Dublin last night.

The victims, who are believed to be in their 20s, suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incident at Grangeview Lawn in Clondalkin at around 9.30pm.

It is understood the woman was shot in the arm, while the man was hit in the stomach.

They are being treated in hospital and the scene of the shooting remains sealed off.
