Police are hunting two men in connection with a stabbing in Belfast.
The 35-year-old victim suffered injuries to his lower left arm and left thigh after being attacked by two men who stole his wallet.
The incident happened in the Brookhill Avenue area of north Belfast during the early hours of this morning.
PSNI Detective Inspector Nicola Scott appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
She said: “Shortly before 4.20am, it was reported that a 35-year-old man was approached by two unknown males in the area and was assaulted.
“The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment to his injuries that are not believed to be life threatening. Enquiries are continuing.
“I would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact detectives at Tennent Street.”
