Irish hotel guests would give up breakfast and hot water for wi-fi service

A good wi-fi service is more important to Ireland's hotel guests than parking, breakfast, and even in some cases, hot water, according to a survey carried out by wi-fi service provider Bitbuzz.

The research carried out between February and June found 70% of people would rather have reliable wi-fi than a kettle in their room.

Some 20% would go without breakfast to have the service, while 5% would choose it over hot water.

Some 70% also said they were ignoring the TV in the hotel room in favour of streaming content over their mobile devices.
