Two men have been injured in separate stabbing incidents in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

Two men have been injured in separate stabbing incidents in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

In one incident, a man in his mid-20s was stabbed on Dorset Street Lower at around 5.30am.

He is being treated at the Mater Hospital - his injuries not thought to be life threatening.

In a separate incident, another man in his 20s is in a serious condition following a stabbing in Blanchardstown.

That incident took place in Whitestown Park at around 5.15am, with the victim taken to Connolly Hospital.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to both incidents to come forward.
