Sturridge to miss Carrow Road trip
Daniel Sturridge is likely to miss table-topping Liverpool’s trip to Norwich on Sunday.
The striker was forced off with a hamstring problem during the Reds’ 3-2 win over Manchester City last weekend and, although manager Brendan Rodgers will give him every opportunity to prove his fitness, the game is expected to come too soon.
Midfielder Jordan Henderson begins a three-match suspension following his sending off late on at Anfield.
