Gardaí have seized drugs worth more than €430,000 during an operation in Dublin city centre.

Gardaí have seized drugs worth more than €430,000 during an operation in Dublin city centre.

The seizure came after the arrest in Dublin city centre of two men for possession of ecstasy tablets.

Gardaí conducted a follow-up search at a nearby apartment in D'Olier Street.

There they found ecstasy tablets, with a street value of €418,000 and cocaine with a street value of €24,000.

A quantity of cash was also seized.

Two men who are both in their 20s are being questioned at Store Street garda station under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
