Recycling workers find thousands in skip, return it to owner

Workers at a recycling centre in Dublin have found a tidy sum.

Staff at Panda in Cappagh found €2,775 in cash inside a skip that came in to the recycling facility.

After tracing the owner, it turned out the money belonged to a woman whose father had recently passed away and as she was clearing out her late father's house, she disposed of the cash by mistake.

The woman was thrilled to be given the money back, but asked not to be named.
