Four teenagers have been charged with kidnap and assault after a boy was held against his will and burned with a hot iron, Greater Manchester Police has said.

Four teenagers have been charged with kidnap and assault after a boy was held against his will and burned with a hot iron, Greater Manchester Police has said.

The three 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons have been remanded into custody after appearing at Oldham Magistrates’ Court.

The 15-year-old victim was assaulted and forcibly taken into an address in the Werneth area of Oldham, Manchester, before being further assaulted with a hot iron on October 6.

He was left needing hospital treatment for several burns to his body.
