A single Irish ticket has scooped tonight’s €86,732,923 EuroMillions jackpot.

The numbers drawn were 6, 8, 34, 38, 48 with the Lucky Stars numbers being 3 and 9.

The National Lottery and EuroMillions websites have confirmed that the winning ticket was sold here in Ireland.

The win is the third highest in the history of the state, behind Dolores McNamara who claimed €115m in 2005 and a €94m win from a ticket sold from a Mace shop in Beaumont, Dublin 9 in June 2013.
