A man has been arrested in connection with a post office robbery in Enfield in Co Meath last Friday.

A man has been arrested in connection with a post office robbery in Enfield in Co Meath last Friday.

The 44-year-old was detained after Gardai carried out a number of searches in the Coolock area of Dublin this morning.

He is being detained at Trim Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

A 19-year-old man appeared in court last week charged in connection with the robbery.
