The only away win of the afternoon earned Westmeath top spot in Division 2A, thanks to a 1-17 to 1-15 victory over Antrim at Corrigan Park, Belfast.

Westmeath, Derry, Roscommon and Sligo lead Division 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B of the Allianz Hurling Leagues respectively after this weekends action.

The only away win of the afternoon earned Westmeath top spot in Division 2A, thanks to a 1-17 to 1-15 victory over Antrim at Corrigan Park, Belfast.

The Lake County maintained their unbeaten run, after the visitors hit a purple patch in a 10-minute spell before half-time, which saw them turn a 0-6 to 0-4 deficit, into a 1-9 to 0-5 interval lead.

Substitute Niall Mitchell bagged Westmeath's only goal of the game before the break.

Although Antrim fired 1-3 unanswered early on the restart, with Keelan Molloy netting their goal six minutes into the second half, Westmeath pushed three points clear, and held out for victory.

James McNaughton was impressive for the hosts, finishing with 10 points; although it could have been 11, but a late effort was ruled out after the referee and his umpires deliberated.

Kerry always looked in control, as they delivered an 18-point home win over Mayo by 3-18 to 0-9 at Austin Stack Park.

The hosts led by 2-12 to 0-3 at the break, with both goals in the closing ten minutes of the half, including their first from Daniel O'Carroll.

Daniel Collins completed the hosts hat-trick in the first minute of injury time, on the way to the second biggest victory of the day across the Divisions.

Meath grabbed their first league points, thanks to a solid first half display, helping the Royals to a 3-16 to 3-10 win over London in Trim.

A brace of Fionn Ferguson goals and some sublime striking from frees from Padraig O'Hanrahan aided the home side well, as they took a 2-13 to 0-5 interval lead.

Meath pushed further clear on the restart when substitute Eamon MacDonnacha netted a 39th minute goal, and they moved 3-14 to 0-6 ahead soon after.

However, wind assisted London came back strongly despite losing free-taker Aaron Sheehan to a second yellow card.

Mark O'Dwyer bagged two goals, with Colin Nelson also finding the net in the 58th minute, but Meath held on for victory.

Derry top Division 2B following a hard earned 0-21 to 1-16 victory over Kildare in Newbridge; in a Division where all the away sides claimed wins.

Kildare netted an early goal from Caolan Smith, but led by one point at the break, on a 1-7 to 0-9 score-line.

The sides were level at 1-15 to 0-18 with five minutes remaining, thanks to the efforts of Brian Byrne (0-10) and Paul Divilly.

However, Derry finished strongly with Cormac O'Doherty (0-11) and Thomas Brady on target.

Lee Henderson fired 10 points for Donegal, but goals were key for Wicklow, who claimed a 2-14 to 0-15 win in Letterkenny.

Eoin McCormick and substitute Jonathan O'Neill both found the net for the Garden County in this close encounter.

Paul Sheehan (0-5) and Oisin McManus (1-2) claimed the bulk of Down's scores, in their 1-16 to 0-11 win over Warwickshire in Birmingham.

Down led by 1-10 to 0-3 at half-time, in a game where Willie Allen (0-7) scored seven points from placed balls.

Roscommon maintained their unbeaten start in Division 3A, with an 0-18 to 0-11 win over Armagh at the Athletic Grounds.

Cathal Dolan grabbed six points, and was one of seven Roscommon scores, in a game which saw the visitors battle back, after falling 0-7 to 0-2 in arrears after 20 minutes.

Monaghan welcomed back their Castleblayney contingent, to take their first win of the campaign with a 4-12 to 2-13 win over Tyrone at Healy Park.

The sides were tied at 1-10 to 2-7 at the break, with Damien Casey netting early on; before Mark Treanor replied with two goals for the visitors.

Stephen Lambe and and Brian McGuirk swapped goals in the third quarter, but a Cathal Power point, coupled with a second Lambe goal in injury-time sealed an away win.

In Division 3B Sligo and Longford both claimed home wins.

Sligo delivered the biggest win of the day, with a 4-19 to 2-6 win over Cavan

Daithí Hand's charges led by 3-8 to 0-0 after 25 minutes, with Keith Raymond firing an early hat-trick.

Cavan's first score was a goal in the 26th minute, for their only score of the half, as Sligo led by 3-12 to 1-0 at the break.

Cavan found the net for the second time early on the restart, but Sligo were too good, with Kevin Gilmartin grabbing their fourth goal.

A strong second half display helped Longford to a 2-18 to 0-16 win over Leitrim at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.

Goals from Cathal Mullane (penalty) and Reuben Murray in the final quarter helped the hosts to an eight-point victory, after Leitrim had trailed by just a point at half-time.
