A strong second half display helped Longford to a 2-18 to 0-16 win over Leitrim at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.

Goals from Cathal Mullane (penalty) and Reuben Murray in the final quarter helped the hosts to an eight-point victory, after Leitrim had trailed by just a point at half-time.
