Sligo Rovers have leapfrogged Dundalk into fourth in the League of Ireland Premier Division.

The side took on Derry City in The Showground tonight to emerge with a 1-0 win.

A goal three minutes from time from forward Ryan de Vries awarded the Rovers the win at home to Derry City.

The low header from de Vries meant the Rovers took the lead with just minutes to go.

Derry City will next take on Waterford at the Brandywell on Friday.
