Aaron Gillane will not be selected for Limerick's Allianz Hurling League clash with Cork on Sunday.

The Treaty County's manager John Kiely has confirmed Gillane will be rested as he is to play for Mary Immaculate against UCC in the Fitzgibbon Cup final 24-hours before.

Paddy O'Loughlin will also miss the Division 1A game at the Gaelic Grounds, as he is to line out for UCC.

The Fitzgibbon Cup final will take place on Saturday in Waterford.

Gillane was instrumental in the win - scoring nine points (six frees) - and was voted hurler of the week as a result.

The game against Cork will be part of a double header at the Gaelic Grounds, with the Limerick camogie team taking on Kilkenny beforehand.
