Meanwhile, Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice has made three changes for Sunday's clash with Roscommon.
Goalkeeper Brian Kelly replaces Brendan Kealy between the posts while veteran Aidan O'Mahony returns to the defence and has been named at centre-back in place of Fionn Fitzgerald.
In attack, Jonathan Lyne starts at the expense of Philip O'Connor.
