The GAA have released their list of the five best points in the Senior Hurling Championship this year and there are some absolute beauties on it.

Clare, Cork, Limerick and Tipperary all have representatives on the list, with Shane Dowling’s one-handed point for Limerick against Kilkenny particularly eye-catching.

But fittingly, first place goes to an All-Ireland champion, with John Power’s calm score under pressure against Tipperary getting the nod as best point of the year.
