Kerry minors prepare for their big day in Croke Park

Electric Ireland, sponsors of the minor championships, have released a new ad ahead of Sunday’s All Ireland minor final.

Like the senior game, the minor final sees Kerry take on Donegal and Dingle teenager Barry O’Sullivan is relishing his chance to perform on the biggest stage of them all.

“A tingle goes up your spine, it’s not like any pitch you play on,” says O’Sullivan in the ad. “With the huge stadium it can be a bit daunting, but it’s massive to be playing in Croke Park, it’s every kid’s dream, what more could you ask for?

Manager Jack O’Connor also features in the ad and is clear about the expectation for his teenage side.

“In Kerry it doesn’t count for much just to reach the final, we need to try and win it now.”
