Watch Aidan O’Shea destroy the Mayo county champions defence

By Darragh Bermingham

Mayo star Aidan O’Shea was in devastating form for his club Breaffy last Sunday as they dispatched last year's senior champions Ballintubber in the Mayo SFC semi-final.

O’Shea scored two goals, was pulled down for a penalty and proved a constant menace to the Ballintubber defence who found his physicality and powerful left foot too much to handle.

After the game, the Mayo captain said he knew he would have to make the opportunities count when they came.

“We weren’t sure in midweek where we’d play (me) and I suppose we probably settled on it yesterday morning” he said.

“We said, look, I mightn’t be on the ball that often but try and make use of it when you get it and thankfully we got a few scores off it today.”

The game was streamed live on localstreaming.club/, who stream events from across the country.

The website, run by former GAA journalist Liam Horan, broadcasts matches, shows and other events and provides packages including commentators, presenters and the option to produce highlights packages as well as live streaming.
