Workers at Dunnes Stores have today voted to strike.

Dunnes Stores workers vote to strike

Workers at Dunnes Stores have today voted to strike.

A ballot was conducted by the Mandate trade union in which over two thirds of staff voted for industrial action in a row over the use of temporary contracts and pay.

The union says its strike committee will meet next Tuesday to discuss what form the action will take.

Mandate said still calling on Dunnes to enter meaningful negotiations to prevent a work stoppage.
