Thousands of people are paying their respects to the family of Karen Buckley in Co Cork this evening.

The 24-year-old graduate student was found dead in Glasgow earlier this month, having gone missing on a night out.

O’Connell’s funeral home in Mallow opened an hour early this afternoon to allow mourners to attend, prompting a large queue to form around the corner.

The removal will take place tonight to the Buckley family’s parish of Annaleentha, where the funeral will be held tomorrow.
