A man has been killed by a train in Co Wexford today.

A man has been killed by a train in Co Wexford today.

The incident happened just before 1pm south of Wexford town.

Irish Rail says the incident involved the 9.40am service from Connolly Station to Rosslare.

The line was closed for a time but it has since re-opened.
