The newspaper goes through the state of the nation's health, by county in a supplement published with today's paper.

The report by Catherine Shanahan finds that suicide rates in Cork City are higher than anywhere else, and Limerick City has the highest infant mortality. Longford has the highest percentage of low birth weight babies.

Waterford has the highest numbers of people accessing treatment for problem alcohol use.

Dublin has the highest breastfeeding rates in the country and the lowest percentage of adults who are obese, the report finds.
