Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after a car drove into a laundrette in Crumlin this afternoon.

Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after a car drove into a laundrette in Crumlin this afternoon.

Four units of the Fire Brigade and Gardaí were called to the scene on Windmill road just after 2pm.

The car crashed through the front door and window of the shop, the driver walked away without any injuries.

Dublin Fire brigade say the incident highlights the importance of wearing a seat belt.
