A man is due to appear in court tomorrow charged in connection with a dramatic armed robbery on the southside.

A man is due to appear in court tomorrow charged in connection with a dramatic armed robbery on the southside.

Staff at a newsagents on the Longmile Road were threatened with a knife last night.

The man fled the scene, and got onto a Dublin Bus which was heading towards the city centre.

Gardaí chased the bus, which was eventually stopped on James's Street, and a man was arrested.

He is due to appear before Dublin District Court tomorrow morning charged in connection with the incident.
