Bruton: More than 27,000 jobs created in 2014

Minister Richard Bruton says more than 27,500 jobs have been created this year.

Minister Richard Bruton says more than 27,500 jobs have been created this year.

The Minister for Jobs and Enterprise says an extra 80,000 people are at work since the Action Plan for Jobs was launched.

He says every region of the country, and virtually every sector of the economy, is showing growth.

The South East has recorded the largest decrease in unemployment in the State.

Exports are also continuing to grow, with service exports up 10% so far this year and goods up 2%.
