Two bodies have been recovered this afternoon in Cavan and Meath.

Man's body found in Cavan lake; another recovered from river in Meath

Two bodies have been recovered this afternoon in Cavan and Meath.

In Cavan the remains were discovered in Lough Ramor earlier today and are believed to be male.

The body remains at the scene which has now been sealed off and detectives are beginning an investigation.

In Meath a body has been recovered from the River Boyne in Trim by Meath and Drogheda River Rescue.

It follows searches for a man who had been declared missing on Easter Saturday.
