Councillors to vote on size of property tax cut in Dublin

Dublin City Councillors are set to vote for a property tax cut of 15% next year.

A special meeting will take place this evening to decide the level households will have to pay.

It is expected that the majority of councillors will vote to cut the tax by the full 15%.

That is despite a warning by Dublin City Management to cut it by just 5%, as it is concerned about the uncertainty surrounding State funding.
