A cyclist has died after being in collision with a car in Cork a week ago.

A cyclist has died after being in collision with a car in Cork a week ago.

The crash happened in Skibbereen at around midday on Friday April 21.

The cyclist, a man in his 60s was seriously injured and taken to Cork University Hospital, where he passed away yesterday.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

Gardaí are investigating.
