Dublin councillor vows to continue fight for Greyhound workers

A Dublin city councillor says he will continue to support Greyhound workers in an ongoing row with the company over pay cuts.

It comes after Anti Austerity Alliance Councillor Michael O'Brien was arrested this morning for blocking a bin truck driving into an estate in Coolock.

He was subsequently released without charge and cautioned.

Mr O'Brien said: "I'm going to remain active in support of the Greyhound workers.

"I think the next flashpoint potentially will be in Clondalkin where the depot is, that is where most of the picketing is taking place."
