Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have drawn level in a new opinion poll.
The Red C survey for tomorrow's Sunday Business Post also shows small movements for Independents and other parties.
Compared to the last Sunday Business Post poll in mid-March, Fine Gael go down 1%, while Fianna Fáil go up 1% and both are now on 26%.
Sinn Féin support is unchanged on 15%, non-aligned independents go up two points to 11% while the Independent alliance drop a point to 4%.
Labour is up 2% to 6%, with AAA-PBP on 5%, up a point.
The Social Democrats drop 1% to 4%, as do the Greens to 2%, while Renua drops 1% to less than 1%.
The poll was carried out between Monday and Thursday in the midst of controversies over gangland murders, water charges and the fallout of the O'Higgins Commission report.
