Four men are due in court in Dublin this morning charged in connection with a €5m drug bust.
The seizure was made after officers raided a number of drug distribution depots in Dublin and county Meath.
Raids were carried out at four locations in Dublin and in Navan, Co Meath.
€5.3m worth of cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy was seized along with weapons and ammunition.
Five Irish and four Eastern European men were arrested. Four men will appear at the Courts of Criminal Justice this morning.
The five other men arrested in connection with the investigation remain in Garda custody this morning. They are being questioned at Ballymun, Blanchardstown, Finglas, Clondalkin and Store St Garda stations.
The operation is the result of many months of intelligence gathering by the Garda National Drugs Unit.
Separately, a man is due to appear in court this morning in connection with a seizure of cocaine and illegal tablets in Dublin yesterday.
€83,000 worth of the drugs were discovered during planned searches in Ballymun. A number of vehicles were also seized.
And in yet another case, a man in his 20s has been arrested after a drugs seizure in Kildare.
Gardaí seized drugs with an estimated street value of €90,000 during a search of a house.
The 25-year-old is being held at Newbridge Garda Station.
Meanwhile, gardai also discovered approximately €10,000 worth of cannabis herb at a house at Bell Harbour in Monasterevin.
