A man has been arrested following a seizure of counterfeit money in Dublin.

A man has been arrested following a seizure of counterfeit money in Dublin.

Members of the Garda Special Detective Unit recovered a large amount of counterfeit currency following the search of a premises in north Co Dublin earlier.

Searches were carried out in the Coolock and Artane areas during follow up operations. Printing and computer equipment were also seized.

One man in his 50s has been arrested and is currently detained at Coolock Garda Station.
